The Hawkes Bay Museum and Art Gallery ( HBMAG) is home of the most innovative design exhibitions in New Zealand. Here we break the rules and put the art of our everyday lives first. Exhibitions explore New Zealand's vibrant art and cultural history including local design and decorative arts as well as featuring cutting-edge contemporary art.
The museum shop has a fantastic range of art & design related merchandise & the century Cinema screens art-house movies.
admission: Adults $10, Children (under 5 ) FREE, children ( 5-15) $5, Family pass ( 2 adults & up to 4 kids) $20.
Open 7 days 10.00am - 6pm (Late thusday open until 8pm).

From the day it opened Marineland has attracted attention. From training "untrainable" common dolphins, to rescuing sick and injured marine animals. Marineland offers a wide range of activities for young and old alike. Swims, tours, shows, and a chance to learn heaps about our animals and how we look after them. Please note that bookings are ESSENTIAL for most of the following activities and we recommend booking WELL IN ADVANCE for holiday periods.
