We have found working with limes is both fun and rewarding. Fun, seeking out recipes which, by trial and error, we tweak the flavours to get a different finished product and rewarding, to see the taster getting their tastebuds tickled and then to be hooked into our lime love affair. Limes have an intense almost coconut taste and enhance the flavour and appeal exotically of produce across the food sphere. We are passionate about our lime products – they are unique in appeal and flavour, combining Mediterranean, North African, Asian and West Indian cuisine. We endeavour to produce a product which will appeal to a variety of needs in the consumer. The chutneys and pickles represent ‘sweet, spicy and hot’ flavours, vital accompaniments to cheese and meats. The two toast toppings are designed to balance ‘sweet and tart’ in a jar, with fig adding the comfort of home preserving.The cooks’ need was in mind when we launched the versatile Lime Drizzle – a lime and lemongrass syrup to be drizzled over dessert cake, fresh fruit, ice-cream or in a champagne glass as well as adding to the pan-frying or marinading of fish.
